ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Stacey Mason is a game designer and researcher with a specialty in procedural narrative. Stacey is the former creative lead for the R&D team at Telltale Games. She has worked in R&D roles for 2K Games, Zynga, Sonderlust Studios, and literary hypertext publisher Eastgate Systems. Stacey also holds the Eugene Cota-Robles Fellowship with the Center for Games and Playable Media at UC Santa Cruz, one of the leading departments in the world for games research. She has a BA in literature, an MFA in playable media design, and is working on a PhD in Computer Science looking specifically at using AI to make game narratives feel more reactive.
